I am going to start this blog by saying I know little about photography.
I do know when a photographer gets the most out their clients their photos look beautiful &?natural. A photographer’s approach, style & attitude are very important to how couples will reveal themselves.
Without the right direction and guidance you can sometimes not have the types of photos you were looking for in the first place.
The information I am providing in this blog post is more about the relationship that a photographer has with their clients. I think the more comfortable a client is with their photographer the better photos you will end up with.
The most intimate moments are caught when a bride and groom feel comfortable with the person taking their photos and can just relax and have genuine real moments.
When looking for a photographer some suggestions I can make are
- Look for a photographer that will work with you and your ideas and suggestions
- Ask about your photographers background and education in their field
- Ask about equipment and backup lens and cameras
- Experience (I would say this is probably the most important factor)
- Look at their Portfolio
I’ve had so many weddings clients complain to me about their photographers in the past that I thought I would bring up what they told me they didn’t like about them.

A great photographer can capture your most precious moments & really tell the story of your wedding day.
