Hello everyone thanks for visiting my blog! I am reviewing 2012! Such a fantastic year!

Every year I look at the amount of GREAT people I meet and this year it was a really good year. So many great wedding stories and I met so many great people!

We’ll let’s have a look at 2012…

Spanish Social Club Events

February was my first event at Salle Rosa for Spanish Social Club which has now turned into a 3 events per year. Very much happy to have them on board and hopefully will continue to do their events.

As well RMCC is as well another group that I really enjoy working for and I am glad to see them twice a year for their Christmas party and as well their closing of the year party.

First wedding of 2012 Martin & Debra!

Now on to a great wedding season in May starting with a Martin & Debra’s wedding. One of my favorite venues (Plaza Antique) and two awesome people getting together and getting married. A lot of detail put together for their wedding and it was really an awesome time.?I could not be happier for the two of them and as well running into a couple that I did their wedding a few years back was a great as well!. Happy to see the new addition to their family.

Then off to?Jerry & Victoria‘s wedding…

I still remember when I met with these two and spent a long, long time going over every detail about their wedding and remember having to try and convince them to go with a package that had more hours. They had initially thought their wedding would end early. I made sure it didn’t! What an awesome night and what a great crowd! So much fun!

June’s first wedding was?Alexandre & Kimberly

From ceremony to end of the night it was truly an epic night full of funny moments and so many laughs. I’m so glad I was able to do this wedding for I really got to see some great speeches and someone I consider an old friend now. Lots of laughs, good people, love and drinks… that’s what a marriage is all about no? As well I kissed an old lady that night… but that’s another story…

Next up was Emmanuelle & Hernando?wedding which was a real test

A Spanish & French wedding where I did have to rethink a lot of usually comes easy to me. Ceremony off grounds where I had to bring my equipment manually. The room was not big enough for even my equipment (just one speaker). That being said like always I manage. This made for a tough day let me tell you. However working for these two was such a pleasure I am very much glad they trusted me with their wedding.

Off to St.Anne de Bellevue for the 4th Annual car Show « Cruisin the Boardwalk »

Any day where I can be in the sun playing tunes and looking at classic cars is a win for me. Hope I get this event next year as well. A real pleasure. For those of you who have not come out to see this event be sure to come by. A lot of fun!

Then off to Laval for Bettina & Jason‘s wedding…

Not every weekend do I get the chance to do a wedding where I have known the bride and groom for a long, long time. Extra pressure…no of course not. For me it’s an honor that they trust me enough to be involved. What an awesome night and the moment of the night for me was the father of the bride’s speech when he told the new couple « good luck ». There was nobody in the room not laughing. What a great night and congratulations to the two of you!

then off to the South Shore we go now for Lucky & Maude‘s wedding…

Beautiful ceremony, gorgeous couple, beautiful family and the best break-dancers I have ever seen at a wedding. One of the hottest days of the year so I am glad everything was done in nice air-conditioned rooms. The long Indian ceremony was beautiful and reception was awesome as well. I was glad to have met these two and to be part of their special day!

Then back to Montreal for Evan & Joanna‘s wedding

Another fantastic venue in Montreal (Riviera Reception) for a wedding that was booked a little last minute but by the looks of it everything was planned perfectly. So much dancing and so much fun. There are so many highlights to the night it’s hard to pick just one… I think plinkco?was it. Really glad to have been a part of this wedding!

then off the Island to Coteau-du-lac for?Cheryl & Dan’s wedding

My first time going to?Moulin Calli?res di Jasmin ?and I was very impressed. CRAZY HOT DAY with a crazy 4 room setup. Ceremony, cocktail, reception, then dancing room… pretty complex let me tell you. What an awesome day and I am so glad Cheryl & Dan trusted me with their wedding. They are so super nice and think a lot of their?initial?worries were put to rest after we met. I’m so glad they were able to do their wedding the way they wanted and glad to be a part of it. Congrats to the two of you!

now we’re off to?H?tel du Lac Carling for Cassidy & Liane‘s wedding

So much dancing with the young and old crowd and great to see everyone making their way to the?dance floor? I am glad I knew my east coast music for it came in handy that night let me tell you. Great Big Sea was used more at this wedding than any other I have ever done. It was so nice to see an old friend as well that night. Great wedding!

Off to an old stomping ground now in Pointe-Claire for Adam & Cristina‘s wedding

When I walking into Stewart hall I remember going there as a kid playing Violin. It’s nice to see everything come full circle now doing music at people’s weddings at the same place…. the circle of life I think they call it… Adam & Cristina’s wedding was really quite?beautiful?and I was glad I was able to help them with their special day. It was a smaller wedding and I was really glad I was able to provide music in both rooms for the night.

Off to Ile Bizard for Sean & Alexis wedding

Ok I can’t even start talking about this wedding unless we start with the grand entrance which I feel set the tone for the night. The big screen + energy of the bridal party + the rap by the bride and groom created a fantastic start to the night and we didn’t look back from there. Happy to be involved with this awesome night. Speeches were off the hook as well and the?impromptu?speech by the father of the bride was a moment I don’t think anybody in the room will ever forget! So glad to have been a part of this one!!!

to the Old Port now for Melanie & Alex‘s wedding

Nothing irritates?me more than when a couple gets a cancellation from a DJ. The official excuse was there were too many steps to bring the equipment up! When I heard their story I wanted to be sure that every wish they had was met and their wedding day would be awesome. The crowd was great, the speeches were from the heart and the couple could not be more grateful. A fantastic night and I was happy to see the couple so happy as well.

the next morning off to Ile Bizard with Special guest DJ Rick Ram for Keith & Julie‘s wedding
Me and Rick work together at THE FIRM so it was nice to hang outside the club environment and see his MC skills. I must say there is nothing better than an MC who knows how to work a crowd during dinner. Everyone thinks they can do it however it is much harder than you think. There is a gentle balance of?humor?and information and DJ Rick Ram is fantastic! The ceremony was great and the wedding was awesome! Such a treat working for with a true professional! Oh yeah and the wedding next door with everything super over the top… well they finished 2 hours before we were done. When hiring a wedding DJ go with a guy that had?pin ash?and not so much?fluff.

Here we go downtown Montreal for Krista & Mike’s wedding

The most interesting fact about this drug is that it was initially developed to enhance the blood flow in the heart and brain also. viagra cialis india For such people online levitra australia online http://cute-n-tiny.com/cute-animals/monkeys-eating-ice-cream/ pharmaceutical store could be better option. Half Egyptian & Canadian wedding where the moment the dancing stated it never stopped. So many awesome funny moments and so much fun. Weddings like this make my job super fun!!!! Awesome!

Congrats Mike & Krista!

Then off to Dorval for Melina & Scott’s wedding

More planning in this wedding than the royal wedding I do believe. So much fun working with these two for the planning of their wedding. Nothing stood in their way for their perfect day! They stayed positive through the rain and put a tent to be able to have a ceremony in the backyard like Melina had always wanted. The detail that Melina and & Scott put into their wedding was very impressive that I think they could do wedding planning as a living. You know it’s a good night when at 3AM it feels like we could have kept going…

Off to Ste. Eustache for Alex & Steph‘s wedding

Usually I would feel weird not having met a couple before their wedding, but in this case it was really quite interesting meeting the bride for the first time as she was walking down the aisle after she was married… What a wonderful day and what a great couple. I was able to film a lot that day and have a ton of footage that I was able to provide to the client. Makes for a great experience when you can provide that for a couple as nice as them!

Then off to Canvas Montreal for Candice’s & Marc‘s wedding

It was the second time Candice & Marc got to see my in action at a wedding in this year alone which I am sure reassured them a little bit for their own wedding. What a great relaxed night where the bride and groom know exactly what they want. A really great crowd which I was comfortable with for a knew quite a few people already and they knew me as well. A fantastic night and a beautiful couple. Fantastic venue as well!

Then off to Vaudreuil for Danielle & Adrian‘s wedding

Me and Adrian go back almost 20 years so when he told me he was getting married I was pretty amped to be involved in his big day! It was the hardest setup I have done in a long time 3 different rooms to setup up in with very limited space. It was a real challenge but at the end of the day the hard work was well worth it. I was so happy that their day went smoothly and it was a great time for all of their guests.?Success!!!

Then off to Christmas Parties… RMCC, Linde Canada, MUHC and as well Environment Canada… 4 Christmas parties in 7 days! A lot of work but a lot of fun and hope to see them again next year.

This year as well I did spin at these bars / clubs Annies & The Firm?as well Crapaud.

Well that’s it for me… still lots to do for next year, lots to learn and hopefully a lot more awesome nights!

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Bring on 2013!
